2000: Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Queensland University of Technology
Bridget's Honours research involved solo artistic practice as research, creating the self-made solo 'In Blood' and working with Cath Child's on 'For Lease' and Nik Hills on 'Holding The Baby'. Thesis outcome 'Going Solo at the Disco.'

2015-2016: One Dance UK Dance Teachers Mentoring Programme Mentee
2014-2015: Inaugural Moving Dance Forward Associate
Commissioned by the Moving Dance Forward Associates scheme: a consortium supporting dance artists resident in the North West of England led by Dance Manchester and MDI in partnership with the Unity Theatre, Contact, The Lowry and University of Salford.
2008: The Ian Potter Cultural Trust
Award to spend two weeks on professional development with the internationally respected teacher Janet Panetta in New York City.
2006-2007: 'Creative Sparks’ recipient
A partnership programme between Brisbane City Council and The Queensland Government via Arts Queensland. This award supported the exploration of video and interactive technologies into Bridget’s choreographic processes.
2002: Australia Council for the Arts ‘Foot in the Door’ Emerging Performers Initiative recipient
This funding supported five months professional development with Buzz Dance Theatre.
