Facilitation Portfolio
Bridget has been facilitating creative and dance participatory development activity for artists, communities, and students for 30 years. This has included: mentorship programmes; training and learning delivery in professional, higher education and prevocational contexts; community based workshops, and more.
"Bridget...made me feel comfortable, listened to, and my ideas and questions were met with a real openness. As a dance artist early in their career, Bridget was firstly able to help me explore and work out some of the practicalities in my project, the "how". I was given lots of clear, useful information, as well as being offered lots of different options/routes I can take which left me feeling empowered and inspired.
Secondly, Bridget helped me to unravel some of the philosophical elements in my project, the “why”. She offered me tools and exercises to help explore what my values are, and we had open discussions where I had lots of space to think out loud as well as to hear about and take inspiration from Bridget’s varied experiences...I learnt a lot from this period of working with Bridget, but what I found most useful moving forwards is that I feel more confident in my decision-making and abilities as an artist.
